Frequently Asked Questions

We do our best to describe comics accurately and point out notable condition issues. Comic grading can be subjective, so we encourage collectors to review listing photos and descriptions carefully before purchasing.

Careful packing is part of the Figata Promise. Comics are packed to help protect against bending and movement during shipment because, as we like to say, comics aren’t supposed to arrive bent.

Yes! We’re always interested in hearing about comic collections large and small, including individual key issues, runs and sets, vintage comics, modern comics, graded comics, and more. Visit our We Buy Collections page and tell us what you have.

Start by submitting some basic information and photos through our collection form. We’ll review what you send and, if the collection may be a good fit, we’ll contact you to learn more and discuss the next steps. There’s no obligation to sell.

Absolutely. Our Want List lets you tell us what you’re hunting for. If we come across a potential match, we can reach out and let you know.

Collector’s Corner is our educational section created to help collectors learn more about the hobby, including grading, variants, comic barcodes, key issues, storage, terminology, and more.

Figata Man is the original hero of Figata Comics, inspired by the frustrations comic collectors know all too well. His adventures turn problems like overgrading, unfair deals, and poor packing into comic-book villains — while fighting for collectors everywhere.

Simple: honest descriptions, fair deals, careful packing, and respect for collectors. Great comics. Fair deals. Happy collectors. That is our Figata Promise.
